The Pulsar Trail XQ38 thermal riflescope is the latest in state of the art thermal imagers from Pulsar featuring the very latest 384x288 17µm thermal core, which provides a detection range up to 1350m combined with 2.1x to 8.4x magnification with smooth zoom, integrated video recording and wifi, providing market leading thermal imaging for long range foxing and vermin control.
Brand new for 2017, the new Pulsar Trail XQ38 thermal imager riflescope bring state of the art technology to the hunter, providing unrivaled performance in the field via the latest high specification thermal technology, enabling a detection range of up to 1.35km, twinned with integrated 640x480 video recording, and wifi sharing to a mobile device.
With smooth 50hz refresh, variable magnification, integrated stadiametric rangefinder and the latest 17µm thermal sensor, Trail XQ38 thermal scope provides a high quality image, allowing the user to accurately identify quarry at distances previously unobtainable by civilian thermal imaging devices.
Super Smooth Variable Magnification
Trail models include variable magnification, up to 8x depending on model, and feature both 2x step-up and smooth, graduated magnification for a truly optimum, customized field of view.
Picture in Picture Mode
Improves accuracy by providing a magnified image of the reticle area at the top of the display. With only 110 of the display area reserved for PIP, the field of view remains virtually unobstructed.
A built-in accelerometergyroscope improves accuracy by precisely identifying cant and angles greater than 5 with an arrow indicating the direction and degree of lateral tilting. Increased angles are denoted with additional arrows. Moreover, the riflescope can be set to auto shutdown when resting in a non-shooting position. Unit operation may be disabled when the vertical angle is greater than 70 or horizontal angle is greater than 30. The accelerometer feature may be temporarily disabled for continued use at excessive angles.
Integrated stadiametric rangefinding
Based on estimated heights of observed objects, the stadiametric rangefinding reticle makes determining precise distances fast, easy, reliable and repeatable.
Integrated video recording onboard Trail
Capturing still images and video is seamless with the Trails built-in video recorder. Image and video content is stored internally and can easily be transferred to PClaptop via wired connection or Wi-Fi.
Streamvision Wifi Video
The highlight of the Trail is the ability to link via Wi-Fi the device with Android and iOS based mobile units using the free mobile application Stream Vision. The Stream Vision software connects the device with AndroidiOS mobile unit smartphone or tablet which enables you to receive footage in real time mode, to distantly operate the device with your smartphone, as well to stream online the image captured by the device to Youtube.
The Streamvision app also allows the user to update the device firmware with new functions etc
New Multi Function remote control
The ergonomic, wireless remote control, with encoder wheel, puts the full range of the Trails capabilities at your fingertips for comfortable, convenient, hands-off operation.
New Quick Change Battery Packs
Trail includes a progressive autonomous B-Pack power supply consisting of a quick-detach, rechargeable IPS5, 5.2A-h battery pack designed to deliver over 8 hrs. of operation on maximum mode. Higher-powered IPS10 battery packs, as well as CR123A and AA battery cases, also are available and provide a perfect off-the-grid power solution.
